General Guidelines

Introduction to the Ben Rush Twenty10 Program
Ben Rush Twenty10 is going to be a great year for GenJ. Using a similar layout to Ben Rush 2009, our program will have a level for everyone. If you are a hard-core political activist who is seeking to be involved and get scholarships and prizes out of your obsession, or if you are an 11 or 12 year old citizen who wants to do a bit of stuff with your club and win a GenJ t-shirt, then our program is for you.   If you ever have any questions about the program, please e-mail the administrator at benrush@hslda.org, or call 540-338-8608.

 Sincerely,
The Generation Joshua Staff

Duration

Ben Rush Twenty10 is an eleven month marathon for the 2010 year beginning on January 1 and ending at midnight on November 17.

Registration and Eligibility

As with last year, all students must register through the Benjamin Rush registration page. It is on the Benjamin Rush website under Registration. The administrator can’t start counting your points until you do.

All students must meet the basic eligibility requirements before registering. If they don't, then they cannot participate in the program. Students must be under 20 years of age and must still be in highschool or finishing highschool in Spring 2010. All students must also have a current membership with Generation Joshua.

Also note, registration begins January 1, 2010 and is open until September 1, 2010.

Award Levels

If you’re looking to participate in the program, there are five different levels of awards specifically designed to allow various ranges of involvement depending on your abilities, time commitment, and age. Each level has greater difficulty and greater rewards. In order to qualify for the award the student must complete the requirements for each level. Each level builds on the one below so that a Statesman will have completed all of the requirements for the four levels below as well.

American Statesman (Level of Difficulty: High)

American Signer (Level of Difficulty: Moderately High)

American Patriot (Level of Difficulty: Moderate)

American Activist (Level of Difficulty: Easy)

American Citizen (Level of Difficulty: Easy)
