 HSLDA-PAC Student Action Teams

Action is our middle name. Since 2003, we have had Student Action Teams working actively to help strong pro-life, pro-family candidates. In 2008, the last big election year, we had over 800 students and parents worked around the nation on behalf of homeschool friendly candidates. Altogether, the teams made over 650,000 voter contacts, knocking on tens of thousands doors and making hundreds of thousands of phone calls.

What are Student Action Teams?

Student Action Teams (SATs) are made up of groups of young people who volunteer to Get Out the Vote (GOTV) for a candidate endorsed by the HSLDA PAC and organized by Generation Joshua staff and volunteers.

To provide appropriate funding for this direct involvement in politics, HSLDA maintains a federal and state political action committee (HSLDA PAC). Student Action Teams (SATs), funded by the HSLDA PAC, provide an opportunity for GenJ members who want to put their stewardship of this great nation into action.

Who's in charge of the Student Action Teams?

Student Action Teams are run by Generation Joshua and staffed with Generation Joshua Auxilliary, Patrick Henry College students, and Generation Joshua staff. The teams also are blessed to have parents who volunteer and come as chaperones forming an integral part of the team.
