Words of Wisdom

If you could give GenJers one piece of advice, what would it be? Be faithful.

William A. Estrada, Esq.

Biography:

A homeschool graduate from Pennsylvania and the eldest of eight children, Will Estrada began working for HSLDA in January, 2004 as a legal assistant to Staff Attorney Scott Woodruff. After graduating from Oak Brook College of Law with his J.D. in May, 2006, he moved to HSLDA’s federal lobbying arm as the Director of Federal Relations.

As HSLDA’s representative on Capitol Hill, Will uses his enthusiasm for homeschooling to advocate for all homeschoolers before Congress and the federal departments. Will also restarted HSLDA’s Congressional Action Program to train local homeschooling families in how to effectively lobby their congressional representatives on matters that affect homeschoolers.

Will has a passion to encourage not only parents but also young people to become effective advocates for the values that are important to Christian families in our country. With this in mind, he was named the Director for Generation Joshua in October, 2007. Will and his wife, Rachel, who is also a homeschool graduate as well as an accomplished portrait artist, reside in northern Virginia.
